This year
we have decided to add a few new and exciting classes to our oldies, but
goodies (Jazz and Ballet). One of the new classes is Strength, Stretch and
Conditioning and the kids really seem to love it so far. SS&C is a mix
between boot camp, training for the Olympics and doing whatever you can do to
make yourself a better dancer. Only kidding J
But
really, in this class the kids will take stretching to a whole new level, fine-tuning
their flexibility and reaching to excel. They will also being using arm and leg
weights to tone and build strength in muscles they didn’t even know they had –
and they do all this while balancing heart-rate boosting exercises for the entire
length of the class. Wow! I’m feelin’ the burn just talking about it! All three
of these components are an important part building core strength and improving a
dancers overall health and well being! We thought this would be a great
addition to our class schedule this year and we offer it for Levels 1-5!
